AVID Canada™ announces Heartland Homes – Calgary, Doug Tarry Homes, Starward Homes, and Mattamy Homes GTA
as winners of the 2009 AVID Canada Awards™ for best customer experience in the home building industry.
Now in its third year, the AVID Canada Award™ is the leading industry-sponsored award program honoring
the best builders in Canada for delighting homeowners. The winners of the 2009 AVID Canada Awards will
be published in the November 2009 issue of Home BUILDER magazine. The awards include the AVID
Canada Diamond Award™, which recognizes the No. 1 builder in Canada; and the AVID Canada Awards, which
recognize the top builders in the following categories: No. 1 builder in Alberta, No. 1 builder in Ontario,
No. 1 builder with more than 300 closings, and the No. 1 builder with 299 to 50 closings. Surveys were
taken of more than 12,583 homeowners throughout Canada to determine the top performing builders.
